Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted use

You may use VeyaDesk to provide or receive attended technical support, collaborate on a computer, help family or colleagues, and perform other lawful work when the responsible person has clearly authorised the session.

Unauthorised access

Do not attempt to access a computer, account, network, application or information without the informed consent of its owner or authorised user. Do not trick someone into sharing an ID or approving a request.

Fraud and deception

Do not impersonate support staff, banks, government agencies, software companies or other trusted parties. VeyaDesk must not be used to obtain passwords, payment details, authentication codes, cryptocurrency, gift cards or transfers through deception or pressure.

Malware and disruption

Do not install or distribute malware, ransomware, credential stealers or unwanted software. Do not damage data, disable safeguards, disrupt services, overwhelm the relay or interfere with another person’s device.

Surveillance and harmful content

Do not use VeyaDesk for covert monitoring, stalking, harassment, exploitation, unlawful discrimination or access to illegal content. Do not record or disclose a session where law or agreement requires consent.

Security testing

Do not scan, exploit or test VeyaDesk infrastructure without written authorisation. Good-faith vulnerability reports should follow the process on the Security page.

Enforcement

We may block sessions, addresses or users; preserve relevant evidence; and report activity where reasonably necessary to protect people, operate the service or comply with law. Serious or repeated misuse can result in permanent loss of access.

Report abuse

Report suspected misuse to [email protected]. Include dates, approximate times and any non-sensitive identifiers that help investigate. Do not send passwords or active session tokens.
